Established in 2000 and based in Colyford East Devon, RBS Scaffolding began as a small local company working for all trades gaining repeat business due to their reliability, professionalism and ability to produce the end product on time,within budget and most importantly the safest way possible. The company grew very quickly from strength to strength, therefore needing more employees with different qualifications and experience in various fields.

WHO ARE RBS?

Richard Challis who runs the company along with Alex Wheatley has 11 years experience in the industry which ensures the day to day running of the business runs smoothly. Due to the high demand over the years from bigger building companies the business expanded into other fields with the company sending employees on different courses to cover alloy towers, confined spaces and high street works. This has enabled RBS Scaffolding to be one of the leading scaffold companies in East Devon.

All scaffolders have gained their qualifications and passed there CSCS health and safety tests. RBS Scaffolding continues to invest in training for all employees to ensure that qualifications are up to date and to make our service as efficent as possible.

Rbs scaffolding prides itself on its health and safety record, always working above and beyond the current standards. After achieving a SSIP we are currently working towards CHAS with our external health and safety advisor. We also have staff with the 5 day Smsts qualification.

EXPERIENCED

Rbs scaffolding has been working in the industry for 10yrs but with many members of staff a lot longer. As the industry improves Rbs scaffolding ensures all employees are kept up to date to make sure we are working to all current regulations and the safest possible way.

QUALIFIED

All members of staff hold a CISRS card all working towards gaining a scaffolding qualification. Some members of staff are also qualified for confined space work, working on the highway -street works card, powered access with the ipaf qualification and the smsts course for help run jobs.
